5 steps to a
new smile

1

Initial consultation

A tailor-made Implant consultation is carried out with the treatment co-ordinator or Dr Sabir giving you the opportunity to meet you and discuss your dental concerns. You will learn the implant options available to you and step-by-step process needed to achieve your dream smile.

2

Clinical smile assessment

During this assessment, our highly trained team will take a 3D scan to help us assess your suitability for Implant treatment.

Once this assessment has beencompleted, we can discuss your requirements in order to compile your implant journey. We understand this can be a lot of information to take in and so we outline this on a tailor-made treatment plan.

3

Same day teeth

On proceeding with your implant journey, the initial step will be the gentle removal of any remaining teeth (if required) and the placement of your dental implants.

At the same appointment recordings of your mouth are taken for the construction of your tailor-made full arch bridge.

This bridge is then created by our highly skilled technicians.

By the end of this appointment, the bridge is fixed onto the implants providing you with your ‘Same Day Teeth’ fixed life-changing smile.

4

Healing period

After receiving your implants and temporary bridge, it’s important to maintain good oral hygiene to promote a healthy smile and allow the implants to heal. This process typically takes 3-4 months.

Your temporary bridge will act as a sample of how your final teeth will look, but will also record information and further diagnostics as you live with it. This will tell me and the technicians how you are adjusting to your new teeth and smile and allows us to further examine any possible alterations that may be needed for your final bridge in 3-4 month’s time.

5

Your final bridge

Following the 3-4 month healing period the construction of your definitive bridge will begin and the required modifications can be made to suit your cosmetic and functional requirements providing you with the smile you deserve.

Once the bridge is fitted in place it is important to remember newly restored teeth still require love and attention and so it is important to visit our hygienist regularly and to also have a yearly Implant review to ensure Implant health is maintained.

We will also give you all the best tips and after-care information to ensure you have the best home care routine to look after your Implant effectively.

Frequently Asked Questions

This is one of the main advantages of the All on 4 dental implants. When you imagine having to replace multiple teeth it sounds as though it could be a long, painstaking process with multiple trips to the dentist. It’s not something that many people really look forward to. Thankfully, due to the angle of placement of All on 4, the implants can support a temporary bridge from day one for most patients! This means we do not need to allow for a period of healing before fitting your new teeth and you don’t have to face having a toothless smile for even a day. After approximately 4 months, when your implants have fully integrated with the surrounding bone, we will replace your temporary bridge with a permanent one over a few visits. This is why All on 4 implants are also known as Same-Day Teeth or Teeth in a Day!

All on 4 Same Day Teeth are perfect for patients who have very few of their own teeth remaining (which may be failing) and would like a more secure, permanent solution to dentures. They are also ideal for patients who have suffered bone loss in the jaw area, making single tooth implants unsuitable because of the reduced bone density. The All on 4 implants use the natural thicker bone towards the front of the jaw, meaning that patients can often receive a full new arch of teeth without having to undergo graft surgery.

After the treatment is complete you may have some redness and swelling and discomfort but both treatment for all on 4 and or all on 6 treatments will be virtually pain free. Any discomfort will be gone in a couple of days. You may lisp a little to begin with but most ‘all on’ patients return to normal within a few days.

The cost of implant treatment is mainly dependent on how many teeth need to be replaced and the complexity of your case. Dr Sabir keeps his implant patients smiling with an affordable treatment range and various financing options. To discuss finance options and pricing, enquire today and a member of Dr Sabir’s team will be in touch.

Unlike traditional dentures, full arch implants are permanently anchored to the jawbone, offering greater stability, chewing power, and a more natural look and feel. They don’t slip or need adhesives, and they help prevent bone loss in the jaw.

With proper care, full arch implants can last 20 years or longer. Regular dental check-ups, good oral hygiene, and a healthy lifestyle all contribute to the longevity of implants.

Caring for implants includes brushing twice a day, flossing, using an antibacterial mouthwash, and regular dental check-ups. Dentists may recommend specific tools, like a water flosser, to clean around the implants.

As with any surgery, there are risks such as infection, implant failure, or nerve damage, though these are rare. Choosing an experienced implant dentist and following aftercare instructions can reduce risks.
