Hear From Dr Sabir’s Happy Patients

I decided to have full implants top and bottom after years of mobile loosening teeth, ill fitting partial dentures after gums had shrunk and front top teeth that were starting to stick out. My bite was affected and one of my partials would come loose whilst eating and I was always frightened I may swallow it. After much discussion with my dentist ,who outlined all the alternatives, I decided to go ahead with permanent full set implants top and bottom. I was nervous about the treatment but Dr Sabir explained everything very carefully and explained what would happen, in which order and a rough time scale. He also explained I would be given some sedation which would help and it certainly did. The treatment took several months but this allowed for healing and the gums to settle which made for a good outcome. After each treatment session it was explained what would happen next and also how to keep everything clean. I am extremely happy with the outcome and I can certainly eat with confidence and my teeth look great. My grateful thanks go to Dr Sabir and his colleagues for giving me my confidence back.

It wasn’t easy for me by any stretch of the imagination but I had a consultation and managed to explain what I wanted. I won’t say it’s been easy, but everyone and I mean everyone has made it easier for me, from the receptionists, the dental nurses and Dr Sabir and the team. Not one of them made me feel stupid or ridiculous, they understood and helped me feel comfortable. Dr Sabir listened to what I wanted, offered me options, but in the end did what I asked for, even in the time frame I wanted, he went above and beyond to help me. Please don’t wait until you are 57 years old to finally get the smile you’ve always wanted. I cannot go past a mirror without looking at my teeth, they’re gorgeous. I had to learn to smile again, not smirk. I had to remember that I didn’t need to put my hand in front of my mouth if I was laughing and I had to get use to having a full mouth of teeth. Having suffered a number of problems with my upper teeth i was left with few options. I decided to Investigate a full upper implant bridge and met with Nadeem. He explained all the options clearly and dealt with me in a very professional manner. I opted to go ahead with the transplant surgery and to have it done under local anaesthetic. The procedure was detailed clearly in advance. I drove to the dental surgery with some apprehension but was soon put at ease. The operation lasted about two hours and was pain free and less unpleasant than I expected. It was a revelation when my temporary teeth were fitted and I was really pleased with the results. I was able to drive myself home with no difficulty. The aftercare was explained carefully and there was some slight swelling the following day but very little pain and this went after a few days. After that it was just a matter of being careful with what I ate and keeping the bridge clean. The final stage was the fitting of the permanent set of teeth and I haven't looked back since. Everything had been trouble free they feel like my natural teeth. It has proved to be the right option for me and can only thank Nadeem for his expertise and for making the whole process as easy as possible.
